I'd like to show multiple DSE side-by-side on the same Excel sheet using Export Data Store Entity to Excel Smart Service node for each DSE.
But, let's say the first DSE writes data between A1 and F13 cells. When I call the service again for a different DSE and specify Starting Cell = G1, it effectively overwrites all the rows from the first call leaving A1 thru F13 blank.
I've also tried the old deprecated Export SQL to Excel plugin, but that doesn't work either.
Is there any way to accomplish what I'm trying to do?

Hi Steve,
Please try either of the below options
1)Create View by joining 2 tables (2 DSE)and use/read the same view output for writing into the excel
2)If above option didnt work , pls try creating stored procedure and parse the output . Upon parsing pls create datasubset and use the same for creating excel.
Please let me know if any of the above option works.
They are unrelated tables. There is nothing to join them with.
Hello Steve,
As suggested by baratc, you can create a stored proc and union the required data from multiple tables.
How do you union five unrelated tables side-by-side?
I would suggest using the Excel Tools plug-in, namely the CDT to Excel smart service. It's deprecated, but it still works as of my last check, and there is not yet a sufficient replacement (as you've found). This should allow you to complete your use case pretty easily AFAIK.
This worked, thank you. It would be nice not to have to rely on a deprecated plugin to do something so basic. But this is literally my only option for now. Thanks again.
