#Appian v7.4 #SAIL #RECORDS
Hai
I want to give the user to ability to download multiple documents at once.
linktoFolder() is deprecated and even if used only the admin users can access that link to repository
without using any plugins to zip multiple documents, what is the Out of box functionality that i can have end user download all docs at once. ...

my initial thought was zip the documents and get one link /suite/doc/1234 and 1234 fould be the alldocs.zip , but client want me to explore without installing the plugin from forum. ryan gates has actually a nice doc zipping plugin.

Have you tried the Appian Common Objects application and its APN_uiLinkFieldFromDocs function?

Thanks Eduardo , I know that, it gives all links . I give user 2 sections. on section with all documents each as one link, and section is download all, where i need to have one file which can download all docs at once. like in repository , you go to folder and select all docs an Appian automatically zips and gives download. I used linktofolder() but in tempo that does not work for regular user and admins it opens . in the world of apps portal that was easy some how , in tempo i am stuck.
wish we have APN_uiLinkFieldZipFromDocs(label,inst,docs array, hidewhenempty) - which will zip and give one link the listed docs array. East to use the plugin james carter wrote but client does not want to use plugin from forum.

You can't do a bulk upload if not using a custom plug-in.
