Record Grid refresh option is not refreshing

Hi! I created Appian record and the appian record grid comes with search, filter, save filter and refresh options. When I click on the refresh option its not refreshing anything. I was expecting it would clear out the search bar and filters.

Why would you expect a "refresh" button to do this?  I would expect it to force a refreshed copy of data to be loaded from the DB (assuming something has changed in the background since when I initially loaded the page), and more importantly, I would explicitly expect it to keep search options I'd already used.  I think you might have this confused with a "reset" or "clear filters" type of functionality - which already exists, in its own spot.
