I created a record and using the same as a data source for the grid. But when I apply filters on the grid. I see below issue.
Can someone help me understand, what I'm missing here?

Can you share what the expression is for the grid? Is it possible that there's a mismatch in which fields are used as the source for your grid and for the filters (either referencing different record types in each of them or using a source that isn't using a record type)?
