Hi all,
I'm fairly new to Appian and having trouble filtering a record type.
The field I'm trying to filter by is a boolean. When it's approved, the field changes to 1, if it's denied, changes to 0. But if it's neither approved nor denied, the field is null. I need to filter out all the fields with a null value.
I'm currently using the guided configuration and have tried = null, = a!isNullOrEmpty(), <> {1, 0}, and a variety of other methods but none seem to be working. I'm currently working to see if I may need to write it in expression mode instead, but any help or guidance would be appreciated. Thank you!

I recommend you using the expression mode, there you are way more flexible to create filters (talking about "record source configuration")
Ok, I'm working in expression mode. Would I create a constant to indicate the fields the user is to choose from? I filtered out the different options with the a!queryLogicalExpression and a!queryFilter, but I'm not sure how to get the different options to display on the drop down list the users select from on the site. If that makes sense. Thanks for your help.
there is no need for a constant.It is quite simpleyou adress the field andyou can use the operator "is null" instead of "="
