As per the records security documentation Auditor Role can view security of record but can not edit it.
I am trying to test the same use case:-
1. Created a user named Auditor (Type: Basic User )
2. Created a Role Autitor_Role and added the user created in step 1
3. Updated the Record type security for Auditor Role.

Since my user type is Basic User I cant access designer mode. As per documentation to access system tab from designer mode user needed to be system admin.
Changing user to system Admin gives full access to record type(Edit security settings also which should not happen as per documentation)!!!

As a system admin they user will automatically have access to ALL features of Appian.
Can you give more information on the issue

Then how I can make sure that my Auditor role which is assigned to Record Type can only see security settings and cant change any thing.
