Need to fetch data from IDP and show it in UI in a dropdown or autocomplete list

Hi Champs,

I have a requirement where in portal, I have to fetch user details from IDP and show it in a dropdown or in a autocomplete list?

I have two questions here?

1) How to fetch data from a IDP ? will it be a API call ? If Yes how to do that

2) Will portal support this use case?
