Is there an option to delete an unused action?
I was following the tutorial and adding a new action on Record Type. I realized, that I chose the wrong option, and created the action without auto-generated Process Model and Interface.I didn't know how to remove the action, so I thought, that maybe if I remove the empty Process Model and Interface associatedwith the action, it would dissapear. Doing that however only made things worse, as now I couldn't create a new action, due toan error on the existing one (Process Model not found), so I had to put it back in.
Now I have two actions, one of which is not needed. How do I delete it?

You can delete it by clicking on cross which will be there after security.
Hello Sebastian Dudkowski Usually theres a 'X' icon on the end to remove the action as shown below. Not sure why you don't have this. Which version are you using? Did you try reloading the record?
I thought the problem was with the security but then he wouldn't have the buttons to add new actions. Still, Sebastian Dudkowski you should check the security of the record. Here is a list of what you will be able to do with what role.
If you are in the correct role, try adding the process model again to see if that cross icon appears.
The version is 23.4I tried reloading, and changing the Action security. I'm working on my company's environment, maybe there's something wrong with it.
Harshit was suggesting you to check the security of the record object. Where you will see groups and the permissions given. May be you can check and try adding your self in the Administrators in case you are not part of it.
I am in admin group, and the permission level is set to administrator. I'm using a database table that was created for another application, could that cause the problem? I added myself as admin in that other app, but that didn't help.
No, that shouldn't cause any issues. Did you try to remap the process model that you deleted to see if it makes a difference?
I did just now, no difference
You should raise a support case with Appian and let them look into this. Meanwhile, if it is not too much work and doesn't have a lot of dependency, you can create a new record type.
