Hi, everyone! So we have a database table that has 100+ columns. But in Appian, record types have a limit of 100 when it comes to number of record fields.
Is creating a 2nd record type sourcing from the same table an appropriate solution for this? If not, what would be the ideal way of doing this? Would gladly appreciate your help.

Yes. Having more than 100 columns in a record is anyway a bad idea. I think creating a second record and moving similar types of fields there, connected with the primary/base record using a record relationship (one-to-one) should be the right thing to do.
What do you want to do with that data? Do you need any of the features that only records can do? If not, you could just use a data entity.
