Refresh record summary after completing related action

Question

Hi.. Is there a way to refresh/reload the current page once the related action is completed from a tempo record?

Activity-chaining should solve this for you - if the write to DB is happening synchronously and you've an unbroken activity chain through the end of the process then data on the dashboard should refresh once the action is complete. Make sure to check here and make sure nothing is breaking your chain - docs.appian.com/.../Configuring_Activity-Chaining.html . Which version of Appian are you using? I can't find this page in the latest 18.4 documentation not sure why...

 shamec0002 your answer should be marked as the Suggested Answer. The only option was to "Vote Up" your answer and post a supporting response. So, in support of your answer: 
 Activity-Chaining solved this for our team . We had to "Enable Activity Chaining" on every arrow between each of the nodes in the flow from start to end in the Process Model. In addition, we changed the Expression in the Summary Interface to use "with" instead of "load".

darrinw , i have faced the same issue in my project. To eliminate this confusion , we followed one approach. After updating the data into the database we are showing a confirmation screen, and we provided a record link in that form, to navigate to record view page, and we are terminating the process after 60 minutes. This is working fine in our application. 
By this idea we elimiated the confusion of a user.
