I believe there is a facility of have related actions as a button or link on top of the summary view of record.
Does anyone have any idea about the same ? Any help will be highly appreciated.

You can have related actions as buttons on record views/dashboards.
Steps:
1) Create related actions for the record as usual
2) Open the default dashboard or any dashboard
3) Select the related actions you want to show on that dashboard

Note a maximum of 3 buttons/related actions show up as buttons. if there are more they will all be under something similar to dropdown
