Could you please explain the procedure for creating records using Web API which fetches the data from the local database?
For an instance preparing employee records out of employee table using Web API returned JSON format Data subset.

That was meant to be datasubset- the data isn't actually upset!!

By local database are you referring to the database you are storing your appian business data? If so you don't need to use web api to create the record. Create an expression that calls the dB using a!queryentity.

@rodgraham I would like to explore using above given scenario.
@sikhivahas I tried the service-backed records. I don't know how to generate key as they used for sunlight key in the demo.

So a service backed record can be set up with an expression that returns a data's upset, this includes output of a queryentity for more information refer to the link Sikhi posted earlier
