External Connectors

Hello All,
As part of a research on external connectivity, we were trying to connect the in house Appian database to an another cloud application. The database runs on MySQL and the external application is Workday - Big Data Analytics. Attached herewith the screen print from the external application configuration that we used based on the server information available in the Appian Database.
It looks like the connectivity isn't occurring due to certain error. Please let us know your insights on this if you have utilized and worked on this or similar scenario earlier.
Thank You !

The host you have configured is the loopback interface, which is always just the same machine. You probably need the externally facing ip address.

Nate - Just want to reiterate that this configuration panel is set up in the external application and these are the options available when I opt to choose MySQL Database. Please let me know as how could I identify the server host.

The <JBOSS_HOME>/standalone/deployments/ contains the data source xml files that typically contain the database connectivity information. These end with a -ds.xml.
