JMeter - Performance Script

Hi - We have performance script created for Application built on Appian 16.3. We want to move to Appian 17.1. As User Interface look and feel becomes different in Appian 17.1, will it impact existing performance script? If yes, could you please advise on the level of impact. Do we need to do recording again & change the existing scripts? Thanks.

Generally, as Appian is upgaded you'll need to do some level of script refactoring for performance and automation scripts.
You can make the task slightly easier by modularizing the code into methods. Then when an upgrade happens, you'll just need to update the methods and not the entirety of your scripts.
