Is it possible to link Views with 'Report Context' in 'Task Report' ?
Thanks

Hi redae, You may need to keep all the processes (whichever is required) as Report Context for the actual Portal Task Report in order to capture every detail and write a new expression rule with a!queryProcessAnalytics() function with Report Context of an array of selective Process Models of your choice (hope you might know that with the recent versions of Appian we can create a process model type constants and so multiple type of constant of type Process Models can be passed as Report Context).

Thanks poornah for your feedbacks. Actually we already do that. But our additional needs were to use a View along with the usual Process Models to gather some additional informations.
I just saw that indeed using expression rule at Data Field level could do the trick.
Thanks again

Hi redae, that sounds good. Just to confirm on your last statement - adding up few columns to the Portal Report and fetching through a!qureyProcessAnalytics() function has satisfied your requirement?? Correct me if I am wrong anywhere.

No poornah I still didn't succeed to use a View as I wanted for the additional columns in Task Report. The purpose was to retrieve some business logic right from the view. What I did finally was to use Expression Rule (at field value property in above - Data Tab) to define business logic for those extra columns.

Oh yea... it makes more sense now!! The idea which you have implemented is the best fit I would say.
Earlier, I couldn't completely understand your thought process with the term view and so wanted to understand more regarding the same. Thanks!!
