Missing Precedents for Constants

Certified Lead Developer

Hi all,

i have one general question, let's consider i have created a Constant, which points to a CDT, now we can say that Constants is depending on CDT but when i check for Missing precedents of Constant (when the CDT is not available in Current Application), it doesn't shows anything, but for other rules like Interface, Expression rule and all other rules, CDT's etc... it works perfectly.

Is there any specific reason behind this.

Missing Precedents only shows the precedents that are directly below (1 level down). This is consistent with checking missing precedents or dependents for a specific object.

When adding missing precedents, repeat and add the precedents until there are no objects missing. Depending on how the applications are configured the CDTs and data store may be in another app in that case the missing precedents can skips objects that are present in selected app(s).
