Filtering Task Reports

I have a SAIL form which lists all tasks assigned to a user - either to the user by name or to a group of which the user is a member.

I have a series of filter fields which restrict the list to a subset of the full task list.  Some are drop-downs, some are text entry fields.

When I click on a task link, the task is shown to the user.  When they exit the task, either having completed it or using Go Back, the filter fields which had previously been selected have been removed.

Is there any technique I can use to retain these filter values so the user does not keep having to enter the same values after each task is selected?
