Click analysis on the Application

Hi All,

Imagine that I have an application and in that I have reports... and other features also, I wanted to show to the admin, about the number of clicks and the number of most used features.

So how can I do that,

My Suggestion :

1.Call the reports from sites and use it from a Action, so that every time they click a instance is generated and on that I will maintain the table in the database, and post that I will show the max count on the admin dashboard.

2.For other features also I will maintain the same.

Apart from this is there any other way to implement this,
