Hi,
I've set up FitNesse to run through a pretty basic process, and it manages to go through just fine until it hits the dropdown field.
What seems to be happening is that it looks at every possible option and checks if that option matches the string passed as the choice value. In my case, it continuously scrolls through every possible choice and does not select any of them. Very rarely, however, it will actually select the correct choice despite passing over it several times before. Usually the test will just timeout, though.
Given what I've seen, the problem is not due to a typo in the choice value I've passed it (I've tried the index as well). Any help would be much appreciated
We are running on 17.1, using the latest version of FitNesse for Appian.
Thanks
Will

William Taylor (williamt0001) Exactly same problem I'm facing now. All my scripts are running fine in Appian 16.3 version. But the same scripts are not working Appian 17.2 version due to this dropdown issue.
I'm using the latest version of FitNesse.
Here is the another post, even this guy is facing the same problem it seems.

It seems like a viable work around for the time being is to use: populate field | FIELD_NAME or INDEX | with value | INDEX That has been working for us so far. It's not ideal, but it gets the job done. Will Taylor
