Having problems applying permanent license.

Am I doing something wrong when applying the license?  This has happened twice already.  I request a temporary license, and then a permanent license.  Once I receive the permanent license I copy it in /appian17.2/appian/server/_bin/k/win64/k3.lic

After doing this, everything starts working.  As soon as there is a windows system update, and my computer restarts, that license is not valid any more.  When I execute the k.exe, I just get the k3.lic message.

 

This has happened twice already, and have to go through the process of requesting a new license.  Is there anything that needs to be done to fix this problem, or to avoid having to constantly request new licenses?  Any help is appreciated.

We can raise the Appian support case via account executive or platform support engineer in your company and Appian support team can help you. Alternatively you may send an email to 'support@appian.com' but support ticket will be the faster resolution path.

    It is better to be sure and confirm with Appian support in identifying the best fix to stop reoccuring the issue.
