What version of Appian you are using, I have checked this functionality in 17.1. As I can see there is a product issue (might not be), Even though you can see the delete button active clicking on it will not delete the application if the user has only viewer level of access

Hi Kiran, Please check the user profile again , a minimum of editor rights are required for a user to delete an application. also check the applciation security and see whether this user has administrator access on that application. If possible, please share a screen shot.

When you click on the delete button you will see in the pop up 'You do not have permission to delete any of the 1 selected applications.'

I am using 17.2 i was able to see delete button so i thought it would delete the Application ,i verified its behaving as you mentioned

As per Documentation Admin,Editor can delete the Application but for Viewer Rights user also able to delete button it wasn't in disabled mode so i thought he would be delete the App.
