Is there any existing appian functions to check using the process id that existing process is active or archived?

Hi souravs , I can't think of any function that can achieve this! Considering there is no such function, I suggest you to create a process report for the processes and then query the same using a!queryProcessAnalytics() to filter based on process id and return the status. Hope it helps.

create a process report for all active processes in the system. Save that to a constant. Create an expression rule and display the process id of the processes. check if the process id that you are looking for exists or not. If it exists then it means that it hasn't been archived and vice versa

I agree we don't have any OOTB functions available, but still this is also one of the OOTB feature which Appian provides to deal with the processes and their respective instances.
