Is there way to import formatted string

Usually string contains only text. Formatting is stored separately and applied when displaying to the user.

You can see how rich text field works in appian to see how text is separated from formatting.

I think there are no text interpreters. But you can generate an html page with customized styles. You can use rich text facility to display information in predefined styles as per the Appian.
