Delayed in job launch in Appian.

HI All,

We are launching jobs in Appian based on email.. The jobs are being launched but they are being delayed by 30 - 90 mins .

As the email notification for launching the job is received on time but actual job which should be launched in Appian is delayed.

Looking forward for the work around and any suggestions / solutions are highly appreciated..

Hi,
I would suggest to investigate on you Appian server (if you have access) and/or take a help of authorized Appian admin. Sometimes, it may be the server CPU and Memory utilization issue or some configuration issue. If not, then analyze your process performance.

It would also be worth working with your email infrastructure team to determine the time the email actually makes it to the server hosting Appian. There could be some issue here which causes emails to be delayed that are targeted at the process model
