Date Field is giving Weird Validation Message

Question

Hi All, 
 We have one Date Field in our SAIL interface where user tried to enter date 01/28/2018 which is not a valid format (dd/mm/yyyy) so date field will give validation message i.e. internal to the component as below 
 
 But we have same Date field in our another environment where if user enters the same date it is giving some different error message with wrong valid format (Shown Below): 
 
 Any suggestions what could possibly be causing this?

Hi All, 
 
I have got the response from Appian Support. This was a product Issue and has been resolved in one of the Hotfixes.
