iOS device - Mail application Displays read-only pdf as editable

I am generating a PDF report using PDF doc from template smart service. All the data attributes are configured as read-only in the template.

I can see generated read-only PDF on desktop & outlook mobile App, but for some reasons Apple mail app shows it as editable PDF.

Any pointers would be helpful.

Is this issue isolated to Appian? In other words, if you generate a read-only PDF on your desktop (or find one online) and email to an iOS device, is it also read-only or can you edit it?

I recommend opening a case with Appian support to see if that is expected. You may have to use or build a plugin to take the generated document and force it to be read only.
