How to add search box in grid control

Hello, 
 
 There is an interface which is retrieving data and displaying it inside gridLayout. As the amount of data it holds are very huge approx 200-300 rows, Hence I used paging concept but it is very time consuming for the users to search for specific record from it. Is there a way I can add search box inside this form? So that users can easily get what they need on the basis of entered value. If yes, Then please guide me how? and if no and let me know what could be the alternative solution for this. Thanks in advance

Thanks Jasmin for your reply. So that means I can use textField control and inside the saveinto parameter I can again fire the query on the variable which holds all the records. This is what you mean?
