Hi all,
I am having an issue seeing all group members of a group that my basic user is a part of. I added this user as an administrator of our company's All Users group, and so, the user became an admin of all other groups which as a part of this All Users group.
I am unable to see users in many of these subgroups. This problem presented itself by not being able to use the user() function to see first and last name.
Steps I have taken so far:
1. Selected the checkbox in the admin console Permissions tab so users can see each other
2. Verified the user is an admin of each sub group (inherited)
3. Verified all application security is set correctly
Any help would be greatly appreciated

As far as I know, being the admin of a group allows you to see the group itself and which users are members, but does not necessarily grant you permission to access each user's information, which is what the user() function does. I believe that is a separate set of permissions. You may need to use the Modify User Security Smart Service to grant the permissions you want.
