Completed task link error

Question

Hi, 
 If I send a task to a group and someone 'accepts' and 'completes' the task and then another one tries to follow the link in the task mail sent from Appian

This task was assigned to you and others on dd.mm.yyyy hh:mm GMT The task priority is Normal

To view the task, please follow this link

then this results in "An Error Has Occurred". Is this expected behaviour? Even if data is supposed to be kept on the process for months on end?

Yes, this is expected Appian behavior. One of the user from that group accepted that task it means, now that task assigned to that particular user and it is on his on task list. 
 
If you want to assign this task to all members of the group please follow below link to understand "Assigning a Task to Every Member in a Group" .
