Hello all,
Currently, i'm just messing around with a few quick task, but I have a question regarding their end time. So, I have a related action, within that related action there is a user task which i've made into quick task. Now, let's assume a user does not complete the task and navigates elsewhere. Does the task end there? Is the there a timer for the task? If there is a timer to how long is it? Will the process remain active in till it is manually completed? Will the unfinished task appear under task tab, (currently it is not appearing for me)?
If anything needs clarification please let me know.
I'm just curious about all of these questions

Hi Eleazar, No, if the user navigates away from the task it will not be ended and it will not show up in the task list (quick tasks don't appear under the tasks tab). The process will remain active while this task is active unless another flow in the process reaches a terminate event. You should include an exception flow for quick tasks, which could be initiated from a timer and flow to a terminate event to end the process. See the documentation link here for how to configure an exception flow: docs.appian.com/.../Exception_Flows.html Hope this helps!
