Appian academy error in Chrome/Firefox but not Edge

Question

I cannot get the Appian Academy working on Chrome or Firefox. It does work for Microsoft edge 
 The error: 500 with advice to try again in a few minutes (which I have) 
 I have tried multiple times

I was able to replicate the issue when I moved the cookies set by Appian in chrome from allowed to blocked. The issue resolved when I cleared browsing data(Make sure that you selected the "Cookies and other site data" check box while clearing browsing data in chrome). 
Note: 
Allowing the blocked cookies might not work.
