PDF generation using XSL FO

I am trying to generate a dynamic PDF with 'PDF from XSL FO Transformation', it is generating a PDF but after opening it I'm getting an error stating 'The file is damaged and could not be repaired.' Has anyone came across such scenario? I'm not able find the issue here.

Hello Deepanshua, That error is commonly found when the XSL-FO is not well formed and/or the commands were not interpreted by the Apache FOP library. Lot of the comments from the others might help…

Hi,
-Try verifying your XSL and XML code. You could use the link : www.utilities-online.info/.../ for the same.
-Check if the extension of the files you have uploaded is correct for both XML and XSL doc.
-And if you have an image in your document, try removing the image and see if it gets generated then . I came across a similar scenario -
when I had an image in the doc , Once it was removed ,the PDF document got generated.

Hi paschimav,

Could you please elaborate your 2nd point. I am using .xml for xml document and .xsl for xsl document. My confusion is which should be the input document in the inputs of xsl document in the Pdf from xsl-fo plugin. Should it be xsl file, xslt file or xsl-fo file. I am confused in between them as well and also between their extensions. Thanks
