we are working with 18.2 version & facing issue while exporting application/patch which contains process models in it.
ERROR: processModel 1067 0002e0e9-3fe8-8000-2981-014d98014d98 : The data for processModel [id=1067 uuid=0002e0e9-3fe8-8000-2981-014d98014d98] could not be saved to XML. Cause: java.lang.NullPointerException (APNX-1-4071-004)
Please share thoughts how we resolve this

Did you find any solution on this. we are getting same error in 24.1
DO you see any error in the process model referenced???
Try to change the pm , save and publish.... do you see any error? is the process published ok? are you using any smart service in the pm¿?
Yes no error nothing. even I create new process model with start & end node only and try to export still getting same issue.
But the new process is still in the patch, right? If you remove the pm from the patch is still failing?
