Is there any way i can pull out a report to find out how many applications were created within a certain period. e.g. report of all the application created between 1st Mar 2018 to 30th July 2018?

try Application Plugins.
Nitesht, in that case you might think on analyzing the log file generated by health check, hc-application-objects.csv.
You can use the plugin Log Reader to extract the date.
