Group not found when using a!groupsByName( groupName )

Question

There seems to be a length limit that is not communicated in the documentation for the new a!groupsByName( groupName ) function. This is causing unexpected behaviour in some cases where group names are longer than advised. Please confirm whether there is an upper limit and if so, please update the documentation with the limit.

Hi Philip, 
If the user running the expression does not have permission to see a group, that group will not be returned in the result. 
Could you check the visibility of the group that you are searching?

Thank you to all that responded. This issue was related to the visibility and privacy policy settings. Initially, visibility it was set to Personal which it turns out hides the group ( including the name ) from non-admins of the group. We subsequently changed the visibility setting to Restricted and the privacy policy to High. This configuration provided us with the access control we were looking for. Thanks!
