Error while calling a!startprocesslink in web api

Did you see anything in the background logs. is there any error in the server.log/applicaionlogs? When did you get this error while testing the Web API in the Appian itself or else calling it from other external system?

I get this error while testing web api in appian itself.

I am using a!startprocesslink.

Mayank Bu the link is only used when we display on the UI not in the Web API. We must use a!startProcess in the WEB API in order to trigger the process model.

But What if I want the cache key and Process Model opaque ID ?

As highlighted, to start a process you need to use a!startprocess(). This smart service follows activity-chaining, completing only when the activity chain is complete or broken. Note that only Web APIs for the POST, PUT, and DELETE methods may execute smart services.

To retrieve process specific information to respond with, you can index out fv!processInfo in your onSuccess or onError.

Domen, You're right that we can retrieve the process specific information but by using a!startprocess how we can retrieve the cache key?

Can you provide some more details on what you are looking for in the cache key and how you're currently visualizing it within Appian?
