Hi,
We have a problem with Appian functionalities on iPhone5. We are using Appian 7.0.
In the process with Mobile enable form, with paragraph field on the form, when the user try to type text in the
paragraph field, on iphone 5 the keyboard is showing and then immediate hiding. So it is impossible
to write something in the paragraph text field. Does anyone has encountered this problem?
Does Appian supports iPhone 5?...

I experienced this too last night using an iPad mine. I am using Appian 7.2. I had to switch my paragraph field to a text field to resolve the issue. Are paragraph fields supported on Tempo forms?

Can you provide the version of the mobile application you are using and which version of iOS you are using?

I am running 7.2 in the cloud and have had all the hot fixes applied. My mobile device iOS is version 7

Can you try unlocking the orientation and then selecting the field when you are viewing it in horizontal mode?

I tried what you asked and receive the same thing. Keyboard pops up and then disappears.

The cause of this behavior has to do with the positioning of the paragraph field; if the keyboard obscures the field, the keyboard will auto-hide. If the paragraph field is at the bottom of a form this is more likely to occur.

This has been reported to our product team with the reference number IOS-1618.

Just to add, when I'm using the same mobile form with iPhone4 iOS 5.0.1 I'm not having problems with the keyboard.
I have problem with the keyboard on iPhone5 iOS 7.0.3 and iPhone5 iOS 6.1.4. I'm using the latest Appian mobile application from App store in all cases.

This is fixed on the next release of the Appian mobile app, version 2.2.1. It will be released in a couple of weeks.
