How to hold number value more than 10 digits?

Hi,

I am having number value in database more than 10 digit. I want to get it using REST API, while defining CDT which data type i should use number or decimal?

number allows only 10 digits. Is it good idea using decimal for number values. Please help.

Hi Pravin,

You are getting data by using REST API,so after getting data save it as text in appian db,for that number take data type as varchar and save it.
whenever you are using that values convert it to decimal and use it.
