Fitnesse for Appian: verify grid not workin

Hello Rabiah,

I noticed from the verify grid line you have "| row | 1|" should it be "|row|[1]|" ?

NOTE: square brackets means accessing by index not by name. Also we cannot access the rows by name

this is what i have currently that still breaks:

|verify grid |[1] |column |Specific Area|row |[1]|contains|${grantType}|

 

seems like it cant detect my grid as shown below

does the error still the same? can you show an screenshot ?are you trying to verify a single value?

have you tried the following?

Verify a grid field contains a single value:
|verify grid|GRID_NAME or [GRID_INDEX] or GRID_NAME[INDEX]|column|COLUMN_NAME or [COLUMN_INDEX]|row|[ROW_INDEX]|contains value|VALUE|
