Hi everyone,I am creating a Record Type of Subscribers and the source of the records is the DSE from my DS. Is it possible to be able to search the records by name or e-mail? And to put a placeholder in the search bar with the text "Search by name or e-mail"?Thanks in advance

In answer to your second question you cannot put a placeholder in the Search box. The Search in Appian Records is in effect like the Google 'omni-search' - it will conduct a contains-based string search across every column in the your list view. So, in answer to your first question - if you include the name and email in your record (and, bets practice, on the list view itself) then the search will work as per your requirement.
Hi Stewart, thanks for replying.
I only want to search by name or e-mail, but the search is being done also by other fields, such as by id or birthdate. How can I change this?
You can gain more control over the search by switching to an expression-backed record, but there's a fair bit of work involved in doing so. There's more information how to do this here: https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/19.1/Service-Backed_Record_Tutorial.html
I really need the data source to be from the Data Store, but thanks for replying phlib
Datasource can still be the Datastore in an Expression Rule - just use a Query Entity in your Expression.
