Hi
I am working on version 19.1. I want to know if I have a record, how can I find it's UUID.
I cannot use the rule!getconstantorruleuuidbyname() as this takes constant and if I pass the constant that contcians the record, I get the UUID of the constant.
Can any one suggest what is the correct way to fecth UUID of Record.
Thanks in advance!!

The first question is...why do you need the UUID of the Record? What are you going to use that value for? That is: what exactly is the outcome you're trying to achieve?
Hi Steward
I was going through the logs of record wherein the record name is not mentioned but it's UUID. Thus I am looking for the answer to my query
Hello Komalc,
Well from any object that you have in Appian when you export it , it has it in the xml.
Si you can export a patch with just that object and open the xml and find the uuid.
Hope this helps
