Hi all,
We are using Appian 18.4 and we have a Problem when sending some emails. It was all good until we started using Apache Web Server. Now we get the following exception:
javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target
If I try to reset my user Password, then I get the relevant email but alerts notifications fail with the exception above.
We Need a certificate to connect to our Exchange Server. We have imported it in the Appian admin console and in the Java keystore.
Any idea?

Do you have any other log written in Mail-listener log file? Do you all certs in the keystore including the intermediate cert? If you have a locally signed cert in the key store try removing them.
That log did not Show anything wrong, however after reading https://community.appian.com/support/w/kb/253/kb-1028-system-emails-process-emails-are-no-longer-being-sent-with-an-email-body-failed-to-render-unable-to-find-valid-certification-path-to-requested-target-error we solved the issue.
