I am working on version 19.1.
I have a requirement that when user clicks on a link in the Feed, he gets diverted to a form. In other words, I want that the user gets diverted to an Action when he clicks on a link.
In the Action Process node input of this smart service, I have called the corresponding PM. However, when user clicks on this link, he is optionally asked to to fill in some comments and when he clicks on Go button (that comes along the optional notes field), the corresponding PM is initiated and the task starts displaying in the task tab.
However, my requirement is as and when user clicks on the link, the Task opens for him directly, he doesn't need to go to Task Tab to view the Task.

This is not possible through News. The Open a Case feature only allows you to add comments and start the process - it doesn't allow you to show a form from the news feed. Your best bet is to provide the full URL in your news post to a Tempo Action or a Site page where the user could initiate the action.

However, keep in mind that you can tag a record to a news feed and allow your site to show the news tab. So, you could do a combo of record tag, site, and then related actions from the record. Hope that gives you some ideas.
