On Red Hat Linux Enterprise we're using Appian 7.2 in an Apache/WebLogic environment.

We have a process model report on a dashboard that lists about 44,000 processes. Users are trying to export this report as an excel file, but time and time again, it caps it around 17,000 exported.

Is this normal? And how can we unrestrict the export size if it's not a bug or a limitation in Appian?...

The number of max rows can be configured in custom.properties: resources.appian.analytics.application.maxreportrows=

Be sure to size app server appropriately as such larger exports consumes larger app server heap.

Sorry Patty but we are not doing an export of a process report in the portal. We are using a plug in to export PVs in Excel. We noticed the limit is set at 10,000. Is there a way to change it?

Which plugin are you using? Are you saying that the limit is defined in the plugin? You can always modify the source code to increase this limit. Again, please note Myles' comment and be sure to adjust your settings appropriately to handle the increase of data being exported.

We are using this plugin Export SQL and Report Data to EXCEL - V2 and the limit is supposed to be in that plugin.
