I had created a department page and added a channel for "My Tasks" and assigned it to 2 groups. I have also added a "Process launcher" button which is "targeted" only to one group. When a user from the second group logs in I see this error in the application-server.log, however the page and functionalities work fine
" ERROR com.appiancorp.ap2.PortalActionsUtil - Could not initialize group navigation information for page PrivilegeException[null=>null]: Insufficient permission"
What could be the reason here? Is it because the user from the second group is not having access to the Process launcher button? If that is the case the message category should have been "INFO" not "error"....

What happens if the process launcher was targeted to both groups? Do you see the same issue.
You're right. I believe the error is logged as error because you've only defined one user group to perform the action. You can change the logging level in appian_log4j.properties (
forum.appian.com/.../Customizing_Application_Logging)
However, keep in mind by doing so, you will be affecting the logging level for any other issues within the com.appiancorp.ap2.PortalActionsUtil class.
