So I have been trying to manually deploy this process model but an error occurred saying invalid process model.
" An error occurred while creating processModel. com.appiancorp.process.validation.ValidationException: Process Model is not valid."
Facts:
1) The process model is not an existing one but a new one
2) Inspection was successful and no missing precedents or dependents detected
3) Published the PM in DEV to make sure it is not invalid
Any suggestions what the reason might be?

Hi Ankit,
Please check if you are using any smart service plugins in the PM. If yes then please check the version compatibility in the dev and the other environment. Things like this may not be detected in the inspection level.
hi! that problem occurs when you open it as an administrator and then you have logged in with a basic person so you do not have permission and it says it is not valid. You must close the session and open it with an administrator user and it will work for you.
Hi Ankita,
1) Before 19.2 version process model administrator login can only export and import successfully, please check are you logging as system administrator instead of basic user.
2) second thing check are you using any plug-ins, if so first deploy proper ( exact match to dev environment) plug-in in Test/stage/prod environment. (destination environment)
3) Best practice to configure Security for your process Model. If you have not added, please add it.
4) later add patch and export it and import it in destination environment.
Hi,
I think you are right. We do have a difference in the version of a specific plugin. The test environment has a more advanced version than in Test. We'll deploy the DEV version in Test and hopefully it will work. Will update. Thanks for your suggestion
Hi, thanks for your reply. I cannot login as a basic user if I am deploying an application. I have to be a system administrator
Thanks for your reply. I think the issue was with the plugin version change. We'll deploy the DEV version in Test and hopefully it will work. Will update.
Deploying the same plugin version worked
