I have requirement to export the data from table in sorted order for given field.
I tried with below scenarios
1. Export Data Store Entity to excel, but i cant see any sorting input
2. Export SQL to Excel, but its deprecated, so cant use.
Please suggest any solution, if you have came up from this problem .

There is no way to sorting when you are exporting
But you can send the data for export after the sorting

How can you get it sorted in that order? I am sorting the data in the View and sending it but is sorting based on the primary key by itself automatically.

You were able to solve your problem, right now I have exactly the same problem and I don't want to use the "Export SQL to Excel smartservice"

Retrieving that data, sorting it and then using Export DSE is the only thing I can think of, maybe you can use an auxiliary table and delete its contents once you finish the export to Excel. I don't know if it's too far-fetched...
