Our infrastructure Team updated Java yesterday and our dev Environment went down. The JAVA_HOME variable is now invalid because the path does not exist any more. Updating the variable solves the Problem but is there any recommendation to avoid this Problem in the future?
The value of our JAVA_HOME variable is /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.8.0-openjdk-1.8.0.191.b12-1.el7_6.x86_64/jre
if there is a Java upgrade then there will be Problems again...
what can we do to avoid it?

We have now agreed to install Java into a generic Folder. If there is a Java upgrade the JAVA_HOME variable will be the same
