Hi everyone,
I am a newbie to Appian and will have to sit Level 1 Credential Exam next Thursday.
Although I have read information on the exam but it still got me confused. So I really want to ask some questions in order to best prepare for the exam next week. So please help me if you have done it before.
I really appreciate your time for answering these questions. Thank you guys so much!
Cheers!

Vivian,
Good luck!
Hello Vivian,
I agree with Ashwin suggestion on the same. Thoroughly go through videos and in addition to videos read the same topic in documentation as well. Mock questions and agile terminology are quite important especially roles and milestones.
Good luck :)
Two things that surprised me were the number of questions regarding Agile (specifically SCRUM) terminology, and how many questions revolved around quick apps. I would also study up on quick apps, as there were enough questions for it to make a real difference.
I hope that you've built an application or two. I also have a recommendation if you are allowed to have appian designer, a test expression rule, and a process modeler open in another tab / window to test things out.
Thank you for your answer Ashwin. It is really helpful. Also, how long did it take you to pass level 1 before? I'm watching many videos and trying to arrange these new pieces of information nicely in my head
Thank you Ankura. I also agree that the first thing is to go through videos and read different documentation on the community. I also realised that beside listening to the videos, it is necessary to also take note. It's sad that Appian videos don't have subtitle
Awesome. Thank you David! At the moment, I am focusing on appian designer and will read more on Agile topic later on when I have good foundation on the designer topic.
I took the exam before it was Level 1 - I took the "Analyst" exam after attending a 5-day Appian Bootcamp and I took the "Designer" exam after a couple of months of Appian development. The "Level 1" exam is a combination of the two, from what I understand.
Hi, You can check with Appian academy. Its simple questions. Based on analyst for appian.
True :D subtitles are missed for sure.. Videos are nice, fast and convey more points in a much shorter duration.
One point of clarification - the Level 1 credential is more similar to the old Designer credential than the old Analyst credential. That means that Level 1 contains fewer questions on Analyst, Business, and Agile; it has more questions on how to develop applications in Appian.
If you have already watched many of the videos, I'd recommend the Developer Skills Practice as a good place to start. If there are any exercises that you struggle with, that helps you to identify which courses to focus on.
