We are trying to use cucumber for automation testing in Appian. We are using Cucumber tutorial in Appian to configure and constructing cucumber scripts.
There is one step in the cucumber for Appian page (https://community.appian.com/w/the-appian-playbook/1325/automated-testing-with-cucumber-for-appian) which mentions i.e Run mvn clean test in CUCUMBER_ROOT, i want to know which command we have to run here. I am not able to understand this. Can someone please explain.

I believe that's the command. "mvn clean test". This is to ensure everything works together correctly.

I am just a beginner to Cucumber so want to understand how to maintain cucumber scripts for Appian and is it mandatory to use eclipse or any specific ID for writing automation scripts for Appian. Can you please answer these questions.
